Anyone with a valid prescription can use Inside Rx. However, there are restrictions on Inside Rx featured medications for persons covered by Medicare, Medicaid or Tricare, even if processed outside the benefit as an uninsured (cash-paying) patient. If you are enrolled in one of these programs you can use the Inside Rx card on generic and non-featured brand medications. Additionally, if you’re 65 or older, you cannot use Inside Rx to purchase Arnuity® Ellipta®, Breo® Ellipta®, Flovent® Diskus® or Flovent® HFA.

This program is valid at participating pharmacies in all U.S. states and Puerto Rico. If your pharmacy is in the network but unable or unwilling to process your discount, please have the pharmacist call us at 800-722-8979 (7 days a week, 8:00AM - 9:00PM EST).

The Inside Rx card is not insurance and it cannot be combined with your insurance, copay cards or any other secondary payer. If you go outside of your benefit and use the Inside Rx card, the cost of your medication may not apply toward your deductible or other cost-sharing requirements. Before using the Inside Rx card, check your insurance benefit because it may provide greater savings than the Inside Rx card.

So you may be able to use a Flexible Savings Account (FSA) to pay for your prescription when using Inside Rx, depending on the terms of your FSA.
