Resmetirom

What is Rezdiffra used for?

This medication is used to treat a certain liver disease (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis-NASH). In people with NASH, fat builds up in the liver leading to inflammation and more serious liver problems over time. Resmetirom works by decreasing the buildup of fat in the liver and may help prevent further liver damage.
