What is Keytruda Qlex used for?
This medication is used to treat cancer. It contains 2 ingredients: pembrolizumab and berahyaluronidase alfa. Pembrolizumab belongs to a class of drugs known as monoclonal antibodies. It works by changing how your immune system works, making it attack cancer cells. Berahyaluronidase alfa is used to help the body absorb pembrolizumab, which helps it work better.

This medication is given by injection under the skin by a health care professional. It is injected slowly into the abdomen or thigh over 1 or 2 minutes. It is given as directed by your doctor, usually once every 3 weeks or once every 6 weeks. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
Injection reactions may happen during the injection of this drug. Tell your doctor right away if you have any symptoms of injection reactions such as fever, chills, shivering, itching, rash, flushing, dizziness, wheezing, or shortness of breath. Your doctor may stop your treatment for some time.
