This medication is for use in the nose only. To reduce the risk of falling, sit down before using this medication. Remove the etripamil spray from the packaging when you are ready to use it. Do not test or prime the nasal spray before use. Doing so will make you lose the dose.

Use this medication as soon as possible after the start of PSVT symptoms (such as sudden onset of fast heartbeat) as directed by your doctor, usually 1 spray into each nostril. Do not use more than 4 sprays in a 24-hour period. Each nasal spray gives 2 total sprays.

Insert the tip of the spray nozzle into one nostril, then firmly press the plunger up to give 1 spray. Then, insert the tip of the same nasal spray into the other nostril and give another spray. Continue to stay seated and keep your head straight for 10 minutes. Do not blow your nose for 10 minutes after using this medication.

If symptoms continue after 10 minutes, use a second nasal spray to give 1 more spray into each nostril. If symptoms do not improve 20 minutes after using the second nasal spray, tell your doctor right away or get medical help right away if directed by your doctor.
