Pemazyre

pemigatinib
Pemigatinib is used in adults to treat bile duct cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed with surgery. Pemigatinib is usually given after your cancer has been treated with another medicine. Pemigatinib is used only if your cancer has a specific genetic marker (an abnormal "FGFR2" gene). Your doctor will test you for this gene. Pemigatinib was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on an "accelerated" basis. In clinical studies, some people responded to this medicine, but further studies are needed. Pemigatinib may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
