Sodium Thiosulfate/Sal Acid
Sodium thiosulfate is an antifungal medicine that fights infections caused by fungus. Salicylic acid helps your skin absorb the sodium thiosulfate. Salicylic acid and sodium thiosulfate topical (for the skin) is a combination medicine used to treat a skin infection called tinea versicolor, that appears as white patches on the skin. Salicylic acid and sodium thiosulfate topical may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
