Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used to treat osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis in adults. Meloxicam is also used to treat juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in children who are at least 2 years old. The Meloxicam may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
